Yung Chen, MD
Dr. Yung Chen’s passion for his patients has led him down the path that combines his extensive training in cosmetic medicine and anti-aging therapies. Dr. Chen is committed to delivering the best possible results for his patients, offering expertise in a number of surgical and non-surgical procedures.
He is an active member of American Academy of Anti-aging Medicine as well as California Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. As technology continues to advance, Dr. Chen stays abreast of the latest procedures and advancement by attending conferences on a regular basis.
Alice Hwang, NP
Alice Hwang is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner who received specialty training in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She graduated from UC Berkeley with a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition/Pathophysiology, and then received her second bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Columbia University in New York City.
After working for a few years as an RN in neurosurgery and med/surg, Alice received her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Samuel Merritt University in Oakland. Alice has always had a passion for aesthetics, as well as the science behind it.
She specializes in various laser treatments, Ultherapy, microneedling with RF, and Botox injections, and medical dermatology. Alice truly cares for her patients and strives to exceed their expectations. Alice is passionate about staying on the cutting edge of the latest dermatological treatments and cosmetic devices.
In addition to routinely studying the latest research papers, Alice is a regular attendee of top national dermatological conferences and seminars. Outside of her work life, Alice loves fitness, interior design, photography, and travelling the world with her husband in search of delicious foods.
Avis Chiu, PA-C
Avis Chiu PA-C is a Stanford-trained Physician Assistant with dual licenses in Acupuncture and Holistic Medicine who specializes in both medical and cosmetic dermatology. She speaks fluent Mandarin and Taiwanese.
For cosmetic dermatology, Avis focuses on wrinkle reduction, facial optimization using hyaluronic filler and lasers, pigment treatment, laser hair removal, PRP injections, and various micro-needling and skin tightening techniques using radio-frequency devices.
For medical dermatology, Avis specializes in acne, warts, acne scar, eczema, skin infections, and psoriasis. In Avis’s spare time, she loves traveling and trying new foods. She is also attending both local and National aesthetic conferences to always stay up to date on the most advanced and current treatments! Avis’s deep interest is in lasers.
She specialized in laser and ultrasonic treatments for anti-aging and facial rejuvenation.
Katherine Yang, RN
Katherine Yang is a Registered Nurse. She has almost 10 years of experience working in the aesthetic field in Taiwan and the US.
Her hobbies include visiting museums, painting, outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, and spending time with friends and family. She specializes in general surgery aftercare, administering Botox, laser facial treatments for skin texture improvement and pigmentations solutions, and skin-tightening procedures.
She has a strong sense of motivation from work when her clients’ expectations are met. In addition, Katherine is working on completing her degree as a Nurse Practitioner.
